Hoteles economicos en BoracayMany times in the "Martial Arts" we talk about "focus" - but so often it is hard to explain or, better yet, demonstrate.
This is what I call a "classic photo" taken with an inexpensive "point and shoot" ... which shows how much more important "getting the photo" is than NOT getting one with an expensive camera!

Story time: Even though I had given up breaking some years before - when they asked me to break I asked now many boards they had left. The reply, six. So, doing a little bragging I told them I could break six without warming up or taking off my street shoes.
The result: I have always preferred the Chinese method of breaking where timing and focus is more important than "brute" power. Notice the break is done with what I call the "Ox Jaw" of the hand. The bottom five boards are broken but not the top board. The focus or force has been transferred past the point of contact. This principle is used in many of our Kenpo strikes.
