The focus of Arbor Hill Living Center is on 'living'. We strive to add quality and choices to the lives of each resident. Arbor Hill is a privately owned 161 bed skilled nursing facility located within a mixed residential/commercial neighborhood across from Cobbs Hill Park. It is on a bus line and is within 1/2 mile of access to Interstate 490. Ample free visitor parking is available on-site, contiguous to the main entrance.

The building is a modern, 3-story structure constructed in 1971. There are 15 single rooms, each with its own bathroom and 73 semi-private rooms each with its own sink. Semi-private rooms share bathrooms with the adjacent room. There are large lounges on each of the two resident floors. Visiting hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Arbor Hill accepts Medicare, Medicaid and private pay applicants. One month's security deposit is required on the day of admission plus payment for services as specified for all private pay residents. Residents must be at least 16 years old. This facility will accommodate short term admissions of at least one week, provided bed space is available. No resident is allowed to leave the building without appropriate staff or family supervision. Security personnel are on duty 24 hours a day.

Occupational, Physical, Speech and Audiology therapies are available on both a regularly scheduled and consultant basis. Dental, ophthalmology and podiatry services are routinely scheduled. The recreational activities and social work programs are staffed with full-time professionals. Barber and beautician services are available to residents on a regularly scheduled basis. Staff physicians provide services for the majority of the resident population.

Various denominational and non-denominational religious services are held regularly. A van equipped with a lift and all safety devices is available for outings, shopping and touring.

Residents are encouraged to take their meals in a large dining room, but are served in residents' rooms when medically necessary. The main meal is served at noon with approved snacks provided during the day.
