This facility is a private nursing home, connected to and under the administration of the Genesee Hospital. It is one of a few hospital based skilled nursing facilities in the Rochester area, and is able to use the ancillary services of the hospital. Its primary purpose is to provide skilled nursing care. It is located in a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood, one block from a bus stop. There are 8 single, 12 double and 3 triple rooms, each with a sink and toilet. Medicare and Medicaid are accepted. Visiting hours are unlimited.

There are a total of 40 residents. Most admissions to this facility are transfers from the Genesee Hospital. There are no restrictions as to medical condition or age. Married couples may share a room. There is a waiting list. There are no required pre-admission payments.

This modern, one-floor wing connected to the Genesee Hospital is suitable for wheelchair residents. The meal schedule follows the hospitals routine. Most residents eat in the Dayroom, and there are three main meals and two snacks daily. There are combined Catholic and Protestant services weekly.

There is a full time Physical Therapist, Social Worker, Volunteer Coordinator and Activities Director.
