Park Ridge Living Center is a non-profit, skilled nursing home in a residential area of the Town of Greece. There are 40 single rooms and 40 double rooms, each with its own bathroom. Visiting hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.

Park Ridge provides 24-hour skilled nursing care under the supervision of a physician. There is immediate access to acute medical care through a corridor to Park Ridge Hospital. The medical and nursing staff share the benefits of a full time Physician¹s Assistant. Resident care is planned to meet the individual needs of each resident using an interdisciplinary approach.

accommodation in DresdenPark Ridge accepts Medicare, private insurance, Medicaid and private pay residents. On admission, one months¹ payment is required for a security deposit. The deposit earns 5% interest and is refundable, with interest, when the resident leaves the home.

Park Ridge has a 45-bed designated short term care unit which emphasizes a comprehensive, inter-disciplinary approach to therapy prior to home discharge. This unit is specially designed for residents making the transition between a hospital stay and home.

Physical, Occupational and Speech therapists are on staff. Podiatry, dental and Audiology services are arranged on an individual basis. The nutrition program is supervised by a full time registered dietitian. The main meal is served at noon, and nutritious snacks are available. There is a full time Leisure Services Coordinator who oversees activities which include: crafts, needlework, ceramics, movies, bingo, socials, story hours, music, bowling, gardening, inter-generational programs, and an exercise program. There is also a dog on premises which serves as a pet for the residents. The volunteer program is extensive.

In addition to Residents¹ Council, there are therapeutic groups offered for both residents and families. The nursing home has a chaplain. Catholic and Protestant religious services are held regularly.
