This facility is a private, skilled nursing home built in 1972. It is located in a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood. There are 8 single rooms and 36 double rooms. All of the rooms have their own sink. Toilets are connected to semi-private rooms. Two private rooms have a sink, toilet and shower. Six private rooms have a sink and toilet. This facility is fully air conditioned for summer and humidifiers attached to the heating unit.

Crest Manor accepts Medicaid and Medicare applicants. Visiting hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., but are flexible. The bus stop is in front of the facility. The schedule varies. Check the schedule with RTS.

There are a total of 80 residents at Crest Manor. All applicants are accepted, except current drug abusers. Residents must be over the age of 16. At present, the waiting list is based on need. No pre-payment is required before admission.

This facility meets the needs of residents in wheelchairs. Residents are allowed to bring their own radio or television. Catholic and Protestant services are held regularly in the chapel, which is also utilized as an activity room. A porch, patio and the grounds are used by the residents. Snacks are readily available and the main meal is in the evening. About half the residents eat their meals in the main dining room.

The 1993 major addition to this facility has substantially increased space for rehabilitation services, activities and recreation services. Some services are contracted for the Al Sigl Center. Physicians fees are included in the daily rate. Fun-n-Fitness, sing-a-long, bingo, crafts, movies and music are some of the frequently offered activities. Overnight accommodations are available in nearby motor inns.
