Cyndi Arbic
Cyndi Arbic, who works primarily in pastel and mixed media, studied under the nationally known pastelist, Daniel Greene, and watercolorist, Alex Powers. She is known for her works in pastel, relishing its directness, spontaneity and vibrant color. She expresses great mood with her paintings of animals, figures, still life and landscapes. Her works have been shown throughout the eastern United States and parts of Canada and she is the recipient of numerous awards. Says Arbic, "I not only try to capture the artistic essence of the moment, as the light and shadow interplay with my subjects, but also convey to the viewer the underlying natural story taking place before my eyes."
