Elizabeth Beikirch and her mother,Mabel Goode started caring for the aged in a home on Park Avenue in Brockportin 1944, moving into a larger home on Erie Street several years later.

discount hotels in GmundenA newly constructed 39 bed facility, known as the Cupola, opened on WestAvenue in June of 1963. Two additional wings were constructed in 1970, whichincreased the home's capacity to 87 residents.

When the Lakeside Health System purchased the Cupola's business in 1989,the Beikirch family's dedicated service to the community was recognizedby the name change to Lakeside Beikirch Nursing Home. The facility namewas modified in late 1997 to the Lakeside Beikirch Care Center to betterreflect the changing and progressive nature of long term health care.

Lakeside Beikirch Care Center has celebrated a decade of providing highquality long term care to residents in the community.
