Our newly designed 28-bed pediatric unit is comprised of 12 pediatricbeds and sixteen young adult beds, and we can accept children four weeksold through young adults. The nursing unit promotes a fully accessible andhomelike living environment which provides for the children's totalphysical, social, and psychological needs. We provide an on-siteclassroom, individualized educational planning for patients, and bothindoor and outdoor activity areas including a new, expansive playground that is fully wheelchair accessible. We also offer physical, occupational,speech, respiratory, and recreational therapies within the facility andin-house dental and ophthalmology services.
