Terminal Care of HospiceHospice is a philosophy of care which focuses on all aspects ofcomfort-including physical, social, spiritual, and emotional-for residentswho are at the end stage of life. Hospice Care is provided by the staff atMonroe Community Hospital together with specialists from Genesee RegionHome Care. Usually hospice care is provided right in the resident's room,and involves hospice nurses, social workers, pastoral care staff,volunteers, dieticians, pharmacologists, as well as other disciplines asneeded.
