Government Finance and Intergovernmental Fiscal Relations in RF subjects: Analysis and recommendations
Within the framework of the the US Agency for International Development (USAID) project "Tax and budgetary reform in the Russian Federation ", taking place in Russia since January, 1998 till October, 1999, the team of Russian and international experts, contracted by Georgia State University, has provided advice to both national and sub-national official bodies. At the national level the experts have responded to the requests from the RF Ministry of Finance, State Duma, Department of Local Self-Governance under the Office of the President, Congress of Local Self-Governance. The work at the sub-national level has involved assistance to Leningrad Oblast, Vladimir Oblast, Novgorod Oblast, Rostov Oblast, Tomsk Oblast and Tyumen Oblast.
