The Jewish Home Auxiliary raises funds and provides volunteers to sponsorsocial events and other programs that enrich residents' lives. Somespecial services provided by the Auxiliary:
  • Cafe Shalom: Residents enjoy free refreshments at this livelymeeting place, open every day from 2 to 4 P.M.
  • Resident Outings: Stimulating trips to the JCC, theaters, shoppingmalls, and special events are available to residents courtesy of theAuxiliary.
  • Welcome Wagon: Auxiliary volunteers visit new residents, orient themto the Home and its programs, and welcome them with a plant and a gift boxof useful items.
  • Beyond Chicken Soup: The Auxiliary's own cookbook featuring over 350recipes is now available in area bookstores and the Home's lobby giftshop.
  • Mitzvah Cards: Available in several denominations, Mitzvah cards canbe purchased at the Gift Shop. Many options available!
  • La Roche accommodationMany other services: Gift shop featuring Judaica at 20 percent offevery day, beauty/barbershop, holiday flowers in synagogue and diningareas . . . Shabbat Dinners, Oneg Shabbat celebrations, and more!
