Residents who are nearing the endof their lives often need a special kind of support, as do their familiesand friends. That's why The Church Home has teamed up with Genesee RegionHome Care to provide Hospice care. Residents who no longer desire aggressive medical treatment can receive comfort care right at the Home. Ateam of Hospice professionals and volunteers works with our owncare-giving team to address the physical, social, spiritual and emotionalneeds of the dying and their families.

To receive Hospice, a residentmust be in need of comfort care, require no further hospitalization,express a desire to terminate diagnostic or curative treatment, and have alife expectancy of six months or less. Following physician approval, TheChurch Home will work with residents, family members, volunteers and theHospice team to arrange comfort care at our facility.
