Rochester Presbyterian Home actively seeks donations in a variety of ways: through various annual appeals, United Way donor option (RPH's donor option number is #1094) memorial and in-honor gifts as well as major gift fund raising. With access to one of the oldest and largest foundation in the United States (Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Foundation) we can match interested donors with a variety of very attractive estate planning instruments such as gift annuities or pooled income funds. We also accept donations of Auto's and many other items through an organization called Charity Fundings. If you would like more information on giving to Rochester Presbyterian Home, please call Duane Girdner at 461-1991 ext.3019 (Mr. Girdner shares his time between RPH and Kirkhaven.) Volunteers The Rochester Presbyterian Home benefits from a rich history of volunteer support. We are very fortunate to have an extraordinary team of volunteers including our 18 member Board of Trustees and our 36 member Service Board. These dedicated individuals provide countless hours of guidance, support and assistance to assure that our residents enjoy the highest quality of life. Many others volunteers join the RPH Community through an organization called the Friends of RPH and they too provide financial and supportive assistance for our resident programs. RPH volunteers operate the Ice Cream parlor, the Country Store, and the His and Her Clothing Shoppe. Volunteers drive residents to appointments, assist with menu selections, coordinate activities and spiritual programs. Our volunteers raise money for the "Early Bird Sale" and plan special events for residents' enjoyment. Many volunteers spend time visiting with residents, listening, supporting, sharing friendship. Volunteers are an integral part of the Presbyterian Home. Their loving service greatly enhances the quality of life for our residents.
