General Information:

Our residents have accessto in-house medical care provided by physicians, nurse practitioners anda range of medical specialists. All of the staff at HillHaven are offered special training in care for residents with dementiaand depression. Hospital services are readily available through our affiliationwith Rochester General Hospital, Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and TheGenesee Hospital. The ViaHealthsystem expects to add Myers Community Hospital as an affiliate by the endof this year.  
 

Our ancillary services include:clinical nutrition, nursing, occupational therapy, pastoral care, pharmacology,physical therapy, psychiatry, respiratory therapy, social work, speechtherapy, and therapeutic recreation activities (offered seven days/week), as well as ophthalmology, dental, audiology, and podiatry consults.In addition, the following amenities are offered: beautician services,in-house laundry service, televisions in pleasant solarium settings, agift shop, and free parking. We are conveniently located near the Interstate590 expressway.  
 

Volunteersplay an essential role in enriching the quality of life for Hill Havenresidents. Hill Haven individual and group volunteers generously give theirtalents and time in areas ranging from friendly visits to special interests.Volunteers may be found visiting, reading to and playing games with residents.They assist in many ways including transporting residents, hosting parties,providing entertainment, making crafts or serving as escorts on specialoutings.
