What's in a name?
While it is completely appropriate to refer to Kirkhaven as a nursing home the name of our facility is simply Kirkhaven. The philosophy of Kirkhaven is reflected in its name. "Kirk" is the Scottish word for church. The concept of a "church haven" is based on Judeo-Christian values and reflects the commitment to recognizing the value and dignity of each individual. We strive to provide the highest quality services in a caring environment for each resident entrusted to us.
