Day Break and Day Break II are adult day care services which give older adults the chance to maintain social contacts, participate in activities they enjoy, and to make new friends. These are choices families can feel good about while away at work or another obligation.

Day Break opened its doors in 1975, the first medical model adult day service in Monroe County. Offering care and companionship, Day Break helps boost spirits and renew enthusiasm. Activities are planned to spark togetherness, interest and enjoyment. Schedules involve music, crafts, movies, outings, exercise, educational presentations, baking, games and more. Day Break's individual care plans match each person's needs with services that encourage vitality and develop strengths of the whole person.

Day Break II is a social adult day program. For older adults, people with disabilities, or those without the opportunity to enjoy companionship and social interaction outside of their homes, Day Break II is an affordable choice. Clients enjoy indoor and outdoor activities including games, baking, crafts, exercises, and educational programs. Staff members plan programs according to clients wishes and abilities. Day Break II is held each Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at the United Church of Christ on Klem Road in Webster.
