| Alzheimer's Special CareIf your loved one or family is facing the challenge of Alzheimer's disease, you are not alone. St. John's offers a range of services, from our 30-resident early-stage dementia unit, through to the 46-resident skilled nursing Mental Health unit. Currently we are constructing four new mental health units with completion scheduled for late 1998. Individual care plans include reality orientation, behavior modification, remotivation, sensory stimulation and occupational, musical, physical and recreational therapies. Mental health services are provided for residents throughout the Home. Support groups and counseling are also offered.
