Do you know someone who is thinking of making a move to a senior living community? A new array of lifestyle choices for seniors is being built in Brighton --St. John's Meadows. In 1998, a total of 259 cottages and apartments will be completed on Elmwood Avenue. Rental fees vary according to apartment size and services offered. The following choices are available:

The Cottages
Forty-five cottages are 1100-1200 square feet, offering two bedrooms, two baths, a private garage, front porch and rear patio. Some cottages include a den. (Available beginning December 1997/ January 1998.)

Chestnut Court
Senior Apartments
Ninety-six apartments are offered in a choice of one or two bedrooms, with a parking garage available. You can select an apartment with a den, or perhaps a patio or porch. Chestnut Court features a swimming pool, fitness area, cafe and gift shop. (Chestnut Court will be available beginning June.)

The Briarwood
Independent Living Apartments
Eighty one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments offer one daily meal in the dining room, as well as linen and housekeeping service. Some include a den, patio or porch. The Briarwood also features a barbershop, beauty salon, and gift shop. (Available beginning Fall, 1998.)

The Hawthorne
Thirty-eight one-bedroom apartments offer the highest level of services. Three meals a day are included, with housekeeping and linen service included weekly. (Available beginning Fall, 1998.)

At St. John's Meadows:

• Minimum age is 55
• No buy-in or entry fee is required
• HandiCall Personal Emergency Response Service is included
• Maintenance, 24-hour security and lawn care is included
• Weekly grocery shopping is offered.
• A convenience store, library, cafe, swimming pool and beauty shop are on campus
• Recreational activities such as crafts, exercise and guest speakers will be scheduled
• A walking trail is included on the 35-acre lot.
