We believe in a hands-on approach to learning and create all of our scenarios to be relevant to you. Our scenarios are used to create a real-life situation in a safe non-threatening environment. You will see what certain injuries look like and learn how to deal with them effectively and with confidence.

Spiritus First Aid Training Company offers a continuous evaluation system where all candidates are evaluated on their skills, knowledge and problem solving abilities from the moment they start the course to the moment they finish. The multiple choice exam is supplementary.

4. What about AIDS?
There is no required direct contact with other candidates in the class and all of our equipment is disinfected to the highest possible standard. Information about how diseases are transmitted and disease prevention are integral components to any First Aid Course.

3. I faint at the sight of blood ...
Our simulation exercises will help to desensitize our candidates to particular injuries which will help to ease the fear at the sight blood. However, if the candidates is still not feeling well he/she many leave the room temporarily.

2. The courses are never offered when I need them ...
Spiritus offers a variety of course time schedules designed to suit even the busiest person. We are flexible enough to work around your schedule, so if you can bring together a group of people and arrange a time and place, Spiritus can meet you needs!

1. What if I get sued?
The Good Samaritans Law in Canada protects civilians from legal action being taken against them in the event something goes wrong when they were providing First Aid. It will protect you as long as your actions were reasonable. Reasonable actions are learned in a First Aid Course.
