Meadowbrook at the Highlands is a medical model adult day care program,which means that in addition to social programs and activities, nursingcare may be provided. Participants are those whose family circumstancesor support services allow them to rema in in their homes in the eveningsand on weekends, but who need some sort of supervision and/or medical careduring the daytime. We offer a safe, secure, stimulating environment andvaluable social interaction for our participants, plus much needed respite for their caregivers.

Meadowbrook Adult Day Care is located within The Highlands Living Centerskilled nursing facility, just off the main lobby. It contains amulti-purpose room with a fully equipped kitchen for meals, crafts,entertainment, and activities, a TV lounge for quiet time and movies,bathing facilities, a conference room for privacy, and a beautiful outdoorgarden patio.

Registrants at Meadowbrook receive a nutritious lunch along with morningand afternoon snacks, social and recreational programs and trips, and haveaccessibility to all the services offered in the nursing home. Some ofthese include:

  • Skilled Nursing Care
  • Physical and Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Therapy
  • Dietary Consultations
  • Maastricht luxury hotelsSocial Work Services
  • On-Site Hemodialysis
  • Barber/Beautician Services
Hours of the program are 7:30am-5pm, Monday through Friday, however,early arrivals can be accommodated. Part time and full time registrantsare welcome, as well as all payor sources. To maintain our high standardof quality, the program is limited to 20 registrants per day.
