Located within The Highlands Living Center is an 18-bed short-stay rehabilitation unit. Rehabilitation may include physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy, any of which may be required after a surgery, stroke, or debilitating illness. Admission is offered to individuals with intense rehabilitation goals who have a plan of increased functioning and an anticipated discharge of 3 weeks to 6 months.
