Laurelwood at The Highlands is the enriched living component of thecontinuum of care offered at The Highlands at Pittsford. Enriched livingprovides a residential setting to the independent elderly who requiresupervision and/or assistance with daily living activities but do notrequire nursing care. Nurses or personal care aides are on duty 24 hoursper day and may assist residents with dressing, bathing, personalgrooming, self-administration of medication, etc.

ERROR MSG Laurelwood consists of 60 studio and one bedroom apartments, each ofwhich includes a kitchenette, private bath with a walk-in shower,wall-to-wall carpeting, mini-blind window treatments, individuallycontrolled heating and air conditioning, sprinkler system and smokealarms, and an emergency call system. Community areas include a beautifuldining room, activities room, TV lounge, card room, library, and gardenterrace. Residents also have access to the beauty parlor/barber shop andconvenience store.

In addition to assistance with personal care, one monthly fee includesthree meals per day in a beautifully appointed dining room, weeklyhousekeeping and laundry service, daily bed making, courtesytransportation, activities, utilities (except telephone and cable TV),maintenance of the apartment, building and grounds, and priority access tothe other levels of care available on The Highlands campus.
