When you are no longer able to care for your loved one with dementia, The Friendly Home is here with specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's and related disorders. Our professionals provide services for all levels of progression, from the early through the advanced stages of the illness where more physical care is needed. While the Special Care Units are identified as physical locations within the home, they are much more than that. The essence of these Units is the program and staff. The environment, complete with a secured courtyard, is designed to provide individuals with a stable setting. Traffic in the units is restricted so that only familiar faces are seen, much like one's own home.
